AE590/690 Seminar Schedule
Presenting students should pick a slot for their presentation and invite
three faculty members to serve on the committee in coordination with their supervisors.
The total time allocated for each presentation is 20 minutes:
15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions.
The number of slides should therefore be about 15.
There is a 10 minute buffer between the presentations.
Students taking the course should attend at least 60% of the presentations
given in addition to their own.
If your final examinations are scheduled to take place during the same time slot as the seminars,
you will be granted an exemption from attending those presentations given.
Registered students who fail to give a presentation or deliver
an unsatisfactory presentation fail the course with an "unsatisfactory" (U) grade.
Students who fail the course within four semesters are dismissed from the graduate program.
Presentations will be given in person at the department in AE Department Seminar
Room.
The use of any electronic devices such as mobile phone, personal computer or tablet is
prohibited during others presentation.
There will be an online quiz through ODTUClass after the presentations. The participation is
mandatory.
