ODTÜ DİK-İHA YARIŞMASI

METU VTOL COMPETITION

Üniversitelerimizin havacılık, uçak, uzay mühendisliği başta olmak üzere, mekatronik, elektrik, makine, bilgisayar mühendisliği öğrencilerini Boeing firmasının desteği ile düzenlemekte olduğumuz dikine kalkıp iniş yapabilen insansız hava aracı (DİK-İHA) yarışmasına davet ediyoruz.  Yarışma 11-12 Kasım 2017 de ODTÜ gerçekleştirilecektir.  Yarışmaya davet edilecek takımların sarf, seyahat gibi masraflarının 6000 TL ye kadar olan kısmı proje bütçesinden temin edilecektir.

Engineering students of aeronautics, astronautics, aerospace, electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, and computer science departments are invited to attend the (METU VTOL) competition which is sponsored by Boeing. The competition will take place on November 11-12, 2017 at the METU Campus. Certain expenses (such as travel, consumables, etc.) of the teams, up to 6000 TL, will be covered through the project budget.

Ödül / Prize:

Yarışmayı kazanan takımın proje ile ilgili çalışmalarını A.B.D. ’de yapılacak uygun bir kongrede bildiri olarak sunmasını bekliyoruz. Bu amaçla takımın belirlediği bir öğrenci için, uçak bileti, kongre katılım ücreti, otel ücreti gibi masraflar karşılanacaktır.

The winning team is encouraged to attend and present their work at a proper aerospace conference to be held in the U.S. The expenses to attend the conference such as plane ticket, registration fee, and hotel expenses of one of the team members will be covered.

Görev / Mission:

İki ODTÜ öğrencisi ormanda kaybolmuşlardır. Sizin göreviniz otonom insansız hava aracınızı kullanarak bu öğrencilerin yerlerini bulmak ve acil ihtiyaçları olan bir şişe suyu ulaştırmaktır. Sizin başarınıza göre, arama-kurtarma takımı harekete geçecektir.

A couple of METU students are lost in the woods. Your mission is to locate and deliver a bottle of water to the students, using your autonomous UAV. Then based on your information the rescue teams will be dispatched.
